NH Liquor Commission Division of Enforcement: 2025 Cross Country State Championships Presenting Sponsor
New Hampshire Liquor Enforcement Division Renews Sponsorship of NHIAA Cross Country Championships
CONCORD , NH — 9/11/2025 — The New Hampshire Liquor Enforcement Division is proud to return as the presenting sponsor of the 2025 NHIAA Cross Country Championships. Building on last year’s successful partnership, the Division is reaffirming its commitment to supporting student-athletes, schools, and communities across the state.
The championships will be held across two competitive weekends this fall. The Divisional Championships are scheduled for Saturday, October 25th, at Derryfield Park in Manchester. One week later, top qualifiers from each division will gather at the Meet of Champions on Saturday, November 1st, held at the Hills House Historic Museum across from Alvirne High School in Hudson.
The NHIAA Cross Country Championships bring together hundreds of high school athletes from across New Hampshire. These events represent more than competition; they reflect teamwork, commitment, and school pride. With a history dating back to the 1930s for boys and the 1970s for girls, the championships have become a tradition rooted in community and excellence.
The Liquor Enforcement Division’s sponsorship is part of a broader effort to support positive youth activities while promoting safe and responsible environments. High school athletic events bring together students, families, coaches, and local residents. For the Enforcement Division, this partnership is an opportunity to engage with communities in a proactive way that aligns with its mission of public safety and education.
In recent years, the Division has focused on outreach efforts that emphasize alcohol responsibility, especially in spaces where minors are present. Sponsoring youth sports allows for a visible presence in those spaces while reinforcing the importance of healthy choices and accountability. This year’s sponsorship continues that work, with a shared goal of helping every participant and attendee feel supported, safe, and respected.
The NHIAA’s procedures for cross-country events also prioritize student safety and well-being. From medical readiness to course supervision, the planning behind each meet is designed to create a positive experience for all involved. The Enforcement Division’s role complements those efforts by encouraging thoughtful community participation, including among spectators and volunteers.
